What is Akaal Purkh ki Fauj?

Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism was the special ambassador of creator of Universe. He, through hymns systematically, logistically and illustratively preached the people about universal brotherhood, welfare of all human beings, indispensability of 'NAAM' earn as honest living and share it with those in need, untouchability, cast system etc.

His successors followed his footsteps and rigorously spread the massage of God that all human beings irrespective of cast, creed, color and region should have goodwill towards all and malice towards none. The fifth Nanak i.e. Guru Arjan Dev Ji gave a unique gift to the whole humanity in the form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, which contains the hymns of Sikh Gurus, Hindu & Muslim Saints and Bhagtas. Basically it is a scripture of universal integration. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Nanak, while carrying out the systems introduced by his predecessors, raised Almighty's Army to fight out oppression, injustice, terror, let loose by the rulers. Guru Gobind Singh Preached and practiced that all human beings are one and God is our common father and mother. The Army 'Akaal Purkh Ki Fauj' raised by Guru Gobind Singh Ji was entrusted with pious job of spreading the Divines massage of love, affection and brotherhood. The mission of Guru is a perpetual agenda for his disciples, which need to be carried out systematically with full strength. With a view to make contribution in the mission launched by Gurus and to further propagate their massage to the humanity the agenda of Guru is being spread out by 'Akaal Purkh Ki Fauj'.
 

Aims of Akaal Purkh ki Fauj:
A. The empowerment of the individuals of all ages in achieving their full physical, intellectual, economic, social, and spiritual potential to become a exemplary individuals, model citizens and responsible members of the community.
B. The strengthening the family unit to provide a cohesive environment for the individual to shoulder responsibility.

C. The development of society to provide the individual with opportunities to share and give of himself/herself.
D. The supreme leadership and guidance of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and Guru Khalsa Panth in the lives of all.
E. Guidance of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji to shun social evils from the society.

F. Humanitarian & Environmental Benevolence.

Methods of Accomplishing the aims:

A. Formulating a holistic development programme providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training of all ages, comprising of a challenging and exciting nature to foster confidence, self-reliance, initiative loyalty, and a sense of service towards other people and powers of practical leadership.

B. Developing an organizational structure that groups Sikhs into five uniformed Brigades according to age with Units in all localities catering for members of all Brigades.
C. Establishing charities, institutions, centers and other projects.

D. Co-operating with other like-minded organizations.
