APKF Public School - Akaal Purkh Ki Fauj

Born out of the spirit for Welfare of Human being, Sikhism, under the aegis of its founders set forth a history compiled of teachings. Having learnt to sacrifice even one’s own family by its gurus, a true Sikh is even ready to help people i distress even through it may be at the cost of his family. Some gave up their lives for saving a female in distress or had to end his life in his pursuit to quench the thirst of the thirsty and many times they became targets of the brutal canon so passionate is this Sikh race, that it can be seen in any cover of the world to save the helpless. It is a feeling of pride that we are members of this highly esteemed family.

The need of the hour is to provide excellent education to our children and simultaneously to bind them with roots of Sikhism. Both education and religion are essential – the former helps us to lead our life in a better way in society and the latter guides us to spiritually strengthen and purify ourselves . In the pursuit of all this, a large number of institutes mushroom every day, but could not hit the target.

The requirement is not to treat a person only physically, but in the heart, mind and soul. To hit in the bull’s eye, it is essential that children, the future generation may be taught these virtues right from their childhood so that they may become an inseparable part of not only the world but Sikh culture as well.

APKF survey team has opened the eyes of quite a large number of people. On a regional survey by APKF in the areas of Ajnala and Gurdaspur belt, it comes as a shock how the preachers of Christianity, under false pretence and vagaries are befooling people. It is our bad luck that a few weak people have lost their faith in the Gurus and in the lure of easy success have completely given up faith in their Gurus.

Around six months back, when this issue comes forth APKF, Bhai Joginder Singh Talwara Memorial Computer Centre and Bibi Bhago Memorial Stitching Centre were opened in Veipuin, a village situated at Tarn Taran Goindwal Sahib Road. These institutions have been recognized under Government Community Polytechnic Scheme in which only 20 students can be enrolled in each course.

Having reached to 40 different families through these six months course, many truths unfurled before our eyes, as a result of which APKF Public School came forward as a dream specially instilled by our Gurus, the educational status of which would be international.

FREE EDUCATION

Keeping in mind all the above factors, it has been decided that around 200 children from among 20 villages falling under the jurisdiction of village Vain poin will be imparted free education. Economically deprived families, families with children and children of baptized families will only be included under this scheme.

TARGET

On account of all these 200 families will be directly bound with Sikhism and not only shall superstitions and blind faith in false teachings will be evaded but the teachings of Shri Guru Granth Sahib shall be taught and so shall the rules be laid as per Sikh Rehat Maryada.

Commit in the name of Guru to adopt a child for his annual education expenditure.

The annual cost of education of each student would be approximately Rs. 6000 which includes transportation costs. Books and uniforms will be provided separately for which other provisions shall be made. The above said cost does not including building cost.
